About the Author

Spending more than forty years in the property industry covering almost all forms of real estate practice and property development has provided John Angus with an enormous amount of knowledge and experience.

For the past ten years he has centred nearly all his business efforts towards strata consultancy, working with developers, strata companies and individuals with an emphasis on diffusing conflict and education through training seminars.

Even though John has stepped down from full time work, he still manages to take on consultancy briefs but is more orientated towards mentoring strata managers and working with strata councils. His passion is to educate councils and owners as to their duties and responsibilities, how they can best relate to each other and the other owners within their strata company to ensure better outcomes.

Whilst no longer a practicing valuer or engaging in real estate agency, he has retained various memberships with professional Institutes - Past Services Member of REIWA, a Member of STIWA. John has also retained his Fellowship status with the Real Estate Institute of Australia.
